Meet Our Team
Mara, Manager & Grooming Assistant
Hi there! I'm Mara, the Manager and Grooming Assistant here at K9 Corral. I have been an employee here since 2014. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Arts & Applied Sciences and I am currently in grad school working towards a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am married and have a 5-year-old daughter named Jayli. And let‘s not forget about my fur-babies! I have two Min Pins, Kahlil and Demi, and a corgi, Eleanor.
When I'm not working or studying I love spending time with my family riding 4-wheelers, fishing, shopping, “running” 5K's, or doing whatever else we can get into! I truly love my job here at K9 Corral. There isn't anything much better than snuggling sweet pups all day. I look forward to caring for and loving on your fur-babies!
Robert, Pet Care Specialist
Howdy, I'm Robert, originally from Dallas, TX, where I acquired the country lifestyle over a decade ago. I'm the proud father of two beautiful children, a handsome son and a beautiful daughter. A humongous dog lover, I sometimes consider myself a dog whisperer. Waking up every morning “grinding the kennels”, as I like calling it, helps keep me sane knowing I'm part of an incomparable team. K9 Corral is my home away from home. I'm lucky to be able to work for such an amazing facility. Six months of volunteer work at the ASPCA has given me a love for animals that's insurmountable. Once again, howdy I'm Robert and I look forward to meeting you.
Shaelee, Trainer & Pet Care Specialist
Hi there! My name is Shaelee Fosher and I am the daughter of Becky Edwards. I am a senior at Dodd City High School and plan to study Zoology in college. Being raised around animals since day one has really impacted my life and the person I am today. I've gone from my mom's little helper to one of her employees. Being by her side all of these years, I've learned the business and have been able to help her grow her passion for this career. My job at K9 Corral is to keep our websites current, office work and train dogs for our obedience program. Outside of work, I play softball for my school and I am pursuing my dream for modeling/acting.
Wylie, Pet Care Specialist
Hey there, I'm Wylie! I am Becky's daughter and have grown up around all of the dogs and the business. I love working with each and every dog, making sure they get the care they deserve. I am also a sophomore at Dodd City High School. K9 Corral is for sure the best facility to bring your dog for top-notch care.
Mariah, Pet Care Specialist
Hi! I'm Mariah & Iim 17. I‘m a Pet Care Specialist here at K9 Corral! I've been a member of this team for a few years now and love this place just like I did my first day! I'm going to be a senior this year but when I start college I'd like to become a child psychologist.
When I'm not working I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend and friends, going swimming, to zoos, bow fishing and whatever else comes our way! At my house I have a huge dog family. I have two golden retrievers, Denali & Aspen, a Pitbull, Reina, two Aussies, Daisy & Coco, and a Schnauzer named Chloe! I love every single one of my babies with all my heart and here at K9 Corral I'll love yours just the same!
Halie, Pet Care Specialist
Hi, I'm Halie! I am a Pet Care Specialist at the K9 Corral and a junior at Dodd City High School. I have been working here since May 25, 2017 and it has been the best working experience anyone could ask for. I have always had dogs as pets and finding a job here was just the best thing. When I'm not working, I'm usually hanging out with family and friends or practicing my clarinet I play in the Dodd City Band. I love having a job at the K9 Corral and it's definitely the greatest place to bring your dog!
McKayla, Pet Care Specialist
Hi! My name is McKayla. I've been working at K9 Corral since May of 2017 as a Pet Care Specialist. I chose to work for Becky because I have grown up always loving animals and there is nothing better than going to work every day and being around dogs that are going to be excited to see you no matter what. I have three lovely pets of my own, two pit bulls named Katie and Roscoe, and a cat named Boudreaux.
When I'm not working I love spending time with my family and friends, fishing, shopping, and of course giving my fur-babies some lovins'. I plan on starting school next semester at Grayson County to receive my basics then move on to Collin County to become a Dental Hygienist. Deciding to start working at K9 Corral was one of the best decisions I've made. I encourage you to bring your doggies to us and I look forward to taking care of your beautiful fur-babies!
